Serasana Wellness Studio Opportunity
Candidates for this position must be over 18 years old, have a driver's license and their own dependable vehicle. Available Work Hours for this Position: 6:00pm-7:30pm Thursday 8:30am-3:00pm Saturday We love each other and our patrons. Serasana is a Wellness Studio that fuses ancient wellness practices, specializing in rejuvenation through stress and pain management by blending acupuncture, yoga, massage, facials, Reiki, healing tea and remedies.Location&Hours: 166 Hargraves Dr, Ste E200 Austin, TX 78737 Located in Belterra Village Shopping Center off Hwy 290 and Nutty Brown Rd, next door to Dunkin Donuts. Normal Business Hours: 9am-7pm Monday-Tuesday 9am-1:30pm Wednesday 9am-7pm Thursday-Friday 9am-5pm Saturday-Sunday Normal Staff Schedule w/Opening&Closing Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday>8:30am-2pm&2pm-7:30pm 9am-1:30pm Wednesday>8:30am-2:00pm (one shift) 9am-5pm Saturday-Sunday>8:30am-3:00pm&11am-5:30pm (overlapping support on weekends) Compensation: Hourly rate is $14 to $16 depending on experience + commission Benefits for You: Free Unlimited Yoga Classes 50% Discount on private services, such as acupuncture, massage, life coaching, sound therapy, private yoga, facial cupping, body cupping, Reiki, etc.50% Discount on workshops 20% Discount on drinks, remedies, and all other products No required uniforms, polo shirts, scrubs, etc. Flexible schedule Available Hours: We are currently fully staffed, however, those who have submitted applications prior to the next opening will be given first right of refusal, ahead of the public. We are open 7 days per week. In your application Q&A, state which days/hours you are available, relevant to our normal business hours. There will be natural opportunities to extend hours, work additional shifts, and trade with coworkers throughout the year. We are open until 4pm on Halloween, Thanksgiving Eve, and Christmas Eve and July 4th. If any of those days are part of regular scheduled hours, we are are expected to honor our work commitment unless we secure coverage from a colleague, which is totally acceptable.We are closed Thanksgiving Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. Extra Benefit Opportunities for You: In addition to the benefits listed below, those who work at least 3 shifts per week or 2 Saturday/Sunday shifts regularly enjoy one free 50-minute service of their choice per month (choose from massage, acupuncture, facials, Reiki, cupping therapy, sound therapy, private yoga, and more).Responsibilities: General: Greet clients upon arrival, guide them to the proper location, answer phones, schedule appointments, answer questions, explain payment options, check out clients, sell retail. Assist with marketing, merchandising, making calls to secure payments, purchasing, accepting shipments, inventory control, graphic design, social media, training, staff meetings, cleaning, and central communication with all Team Members. Additional responsibilities for each service type are listed below.Tea Related: Educate clients on tea, take drink orders, make drinks, stock teas and supplies, and adhere to all regulations set forth by Health Department. Yoga Related: Explain yoga styles, register class sign-in sheet, and organize substitute instructors. Acupuncture/Massage Related: Ensure clients are taken back on time, assist therapists, change linens in rooms if needed, and help keep therapy rooms stocked.Qualifications: Basic math skills, Microsoft Word, and Excel Social Media skills including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and more Basic knowledge of yoga, acupuncture, massage and tea Comfortable conversing with strangers Retail sales competence Conditions of Work
