Perform general preventative building maintenance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Build shipping crates according to product specification Utilize common manual and power toolsMeasure and cut wood, foam and harnesses Operate a forklift Scrap unusable inventory Perform some preventative building maintenance that does not require a licensed professional Manages small projects without supervision Effectively communicate with coworkers and vendors Perform additional duties as directed by the SupervisorEducation and Experience: High School Diploma or an Equivalent Forklift certified Successfully completed 90 days with proven ability to use any job-related tools properly and safely, follow instruction, and work independently Proficient in the English language Occasional overtime This position is safety sensitive and is subject to drug and alcohol testing per DOT regulations.Abilities and Skills: Able to demonstrate carpentry skills Able to perform basic building maintenance Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product Excellent organizational skills Attention to detail and accuracy Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
