Overview: FPM Remediations, Inc. is currently seeking an Environmental Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist for a mid-level full-time position at its Chandler, AZ office. This is an excellent career advancement opportunity for an individual with approximately 48 years of relevant professional experience to join a team of dedicated and knowledgeable environmental professionals.This position will provide an opportunity to apply the latest technologies to conduct site investigations, data analysis, and remediation of contaminated sites across the country for our clients. The role is ideal for a technically strong candidate interested in developing as a well-rounded environmental consultant, with experience or interest in site assessments, field investigations, data interpretation, and technical report writing

Primary Responsibilities: The position will support projects at locations around the United States. Responsibilities will include: Supporting environmental investigations, remediation programs, and emerging contaminant projects (including PFAS) for federal and private-sector clients Participating in field programs, including environmental sampling, drilling oversight, and field data collection activitiesAssisting with oversight and coordination of junior staff, subcontractors, drilling activities, and environmental sampling programs Supporting environmental site assessments involving soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and air Supporting preparation of technical deliverables, including work plans, reports, technical memoranda, and data summariesPreparing technical figures, plume maps, cross sections, and environmental data visualizations Supporting evaluation of remedial alternatives and regulatory compliance activities Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams to support project execution, technical analysis, and client deliverablesSupervisory Responsibilities: Provide guidance and support to project teams involved in field investigations and technical document production. Assist in coordinating daily activities of field staff and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence. Support mentoring and development of junior staff.Education and/or Experience: The Environmental Engineer/Scientist/Geologist II will have the following qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, with coursework in chemistry, physics, and mathematics 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in environmental investigation, site assessment, data analysis, or remediation supportExperience supporting field investigations, data interpretation, and technical report preparation Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong technical writing, communication, and data analysis skills Ability to interpret environmental chemistry and site data and apply sound judgment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and adaptability Willingness to travel, participate in safety training, and follow safety protocols Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Professional certification or licensure (e.g., EIT, GIT, or similar environmental certifications) is preferred but not required.Relevant environmental consulting, field investigation, technical reporting, or remediation experience will also be strongly considered. Security Clearance: Must be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered investigation.

Travel: Travel to field sites will be required as needed, with approximately 4060% travel initially, decreasing over time as the role becomes more technically focused.
