Saw Operator (Experienced), Bakersfield, CA

(EXPERIENCE REQUIRED) As a Saw Operator, you will be a vital part of our production team, responsible for transforming raw steel and metal extrusions into the precise components our customers need. Your primary role involves operating a metal cutter machine candidates with manual band saws, disc saws, and cold saws are encouraged to apply. This is a hands-on position where you will read work order, set up your machinery for each unique task, and use tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure every piece meets our quality standards. We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience in a metal-cutting or shop environment who enjoys physical, active work. Attention to detail is required for this role. Success in this role comes down to a "measure twice, cut once" mentality; you should be comfortable with basic shop math and have a sharp eye for detail to keep our inventory accurate and our cuts perfect. • working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
