Job Title: Quality Inspector– Medical Device Manufacturing Job Description The Quality Inspector plays a key role in ensuring that precision plastic components used in medical devices meet strict quality and regulatory standards. You will inspect parts such as inhaler components and other medical products using blueprints,measurement tools, and visual inspection techniques in a clean room environment, following GDP and GMP requirements.Responsibilities Inspect plastic components used in medical devices, including inhaler parts and related products, to ensure they meet all quality specifications. Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand product requirements and inspection criteria. Perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring instruments to verify part dimensions.Conduct visual inspections using microscopes and other visual inspection equipment to detect defects and nonconformities. Carry out quality checks and final inspections in accordance with established quality control and quality assurance procedures. Follow GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards during all inspection and documentation activities.Record inspection results accurately, ensuring clear and complete documentation that supports traceability and compliance. Use CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment as needed to perform detailed dimensional inspections. Collaborate with quality control and production teams to communicate inspection findings and support corrective actions when required.Maintain a clean and organized inspection area in compliance with clean room protocols and company procedures. Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines while working with sensitive medical device components. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance inspection processes and product quality.Essential Skills Hands-on experience with quality inspection, quality control, or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical devices. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings to determine inspection requirements. Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools for dimensional inspection.Ability to perform visual inspections using microscopes and other visual inspection equipment to identify defects. Knowledge of GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ability to apply them in daily work. Experience performing final inspections and quality checks on finished parts or assemblies.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, observations, and documentation. Ability to work effectively in a clean room environment while following strict cleanliness and contamination control procedures. Additional Skills&Qualifications Experience as a Quality Control Inspector or Quality Assurance Inspector in a regulated industry. Knowledge in inspecting medical device components or other high-precision plastic parts. Familiarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation for advanced dimensional inspections.Comfort working with both visual and mechanical inspection methods to validate product quality.
