Associate Director - Scheduler - Civil Infrastructure, Maryland

Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director – Scheduler to join our Infrastructure team and lead scheduling efforts on complex civil infrastructure projects in the Baltimore area. This role requires deep expertise in Primavera P6, project planning methodologies, and schedule risk management. The ideal candidate will oversee integrated project schedules, ensure alignment across stakeholders, and drive timely, on-budget delivery of infrastructure programs.

As a senior leader, you will mentor planning teams, lead schedule reporting and analysis, and contribute to strategic project controls initiatives. This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

 

Responsibilities:    

Lead the development, maintenance, and updates of integrated project schedules in alignment with established planning, cost, and risk methodologies.

Ensure adherence to scheduling standards and project controls procedures across all phases of the project.

Develop and manage project milestones, progress tracking baselines, and work breakdown structures (WBS).

Analyze schedule data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; communicate findings to project leadership and recommend recovery strategies as needed.

Oversee contractor and subcontractor schedule compliance and integration with the master schedule.

Provide resource analysis, assess availability impacts, and manage schedule contingency planning.

Lead schedule reporting, including forecast updates and earned value analysis, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment on schedule objectives and performance.

Mentor and support the development of junior planning staff and contribute to team growth.
