Heavy Equipment Operator

Large heavy civil contractor is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipmentt Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating hydraulic excavators and dozers to perform trenching, site prep, grading, and utility installation on civil and commercial projects.

Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities:

Operate excavators or dozers to dig trenches, grade, dig foundations, and other construction-related tasks

Load and unload materials and equipment as needed

Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe operation

Follow site plans, blueprints, and supervisor instructions

Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently

Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements:

Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment

Familiarity with trenching, grading, and site work procedures

Ability to read and understand construction plans

Commitment to safety and attention to detail

Valid operator's license or certification preferred

Dozer operators need to have GPS expeirnece

Must be able to get a TWIC card
