Machine Operator 2, Baltimore

Job Description:

The orientation is on Monday, 05/19, and this is the only day in this month. The training will be in the 2nd shift for the first 2 weeks.

Work days/hours: M - F 2pm - 10:30pm. Also, there are weekends included per customer demand, which includes and not limited to Sat, Sun and Holidays if needed. This would be MANDATORY OT.

XX: $18/hr + .45 shift diff (TOTAL HOURLY PAY - $18.45hr)

From Hiring Manager: The employee will need to be trained to run a machine, the operator must be aware that PPE is needed, and attendance is held to the highest standard while working as a contingent worker

THIS TEAM DOES WEAR THE BUNNY SUIT. THE CANDIDATES MUST BE COMFORTABLE WEARING THE FULL BUNNY SUIT DURING THEIR SHIFT. NOT EVERYONE, NOT ALL THE TIME.

Performs routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling and inspecting under general supervision.

Maintains accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO9000 (International Organization for Standardization).

Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.

Makes effective decisions relative to position requirements.

Must follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices, making decisions as required.

Works under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

One to two years' experience.

Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method.

Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps. Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.

Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.

Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment.

Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
