Logistics Coordinator, Stoney Beach

Description Vane Brothers is seeking a Baltimore-based Logistics Coordinator responsible for coordinating and scheduling both marine equipment and personnel. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-service friendly, with strong computer skills. Scheduling experience and familiarity with the maritime industry (particularly tugboats/barges) is a plus. Qualifications EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Associate’s degree (Required) Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) Bachelor’s Degree from a Maritime Academy (Strongly Preferred) 1-2 years of logistics experience (Preferred) Operational experience in the Maritime Industry (Preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Products (Word, Excel, etc.) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with computers and technology. Maintain strong attention to detail. Critical Thinking Skills. Customer Service Skills. Comfortable with multitasking and managing multiple moving components at any given time. Work overtimeas required / able to work weekends/holidays on a rotational basis
