Overview
A leading transportation provider is seeking a Dispatcher to support daily full truckload and intermodal drayage operations.
This role is responsible for coordinating drivers, managing schedules, and ensuring on-time service in a fast-paced, real-time environment.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch and schedule drivers for FTL and container/drayage moves
Coordinate appointments with ports, rail ramps, warehouses, and customers
Monitor loads in real time and adjust for delays, traffic, or service issues
Communicate consistently with drivers and customers regarding updates and ETAs
Support container flow, equipment availability, and appointment compliance
Maintain accurate load data, notes, and tracking in dispatch/TMS systems
Qualifications
2+ years of dispatch experience in trucking, logistics, or intermodal environments
Familiarity with drayage/port operations preferred
Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with dispatch systems, TMS, or ELD platforms
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary range:
$65,000 $75,000
, depending on experience
