The Receiving Specialist (RS) assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance.
The RS is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance.
Primary responsibilities include assisting with receiving the truck, moving freight from the truck to the sales floor, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
The RS also maintains a neat and organized receiving area, assists with training new receiving Specialists, communicates receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary, greets and acknowledges every customer, operates the register as needed, is knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements, maintains the cleanliness of the overall store, and completes any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
Qualifications include the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis, effective communication, confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to organize and prioritize tasks, outstanding interpersonal and listening skills, and a positive attitude.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend and twist frequently, grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently, squat, kneel, balance, and climb ladders occasionally, and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
