The

Carpentry Supervisor

plans, schedules, assigns, directs and supervises the work performed by bargaining unit staff. Responsible for overall supervision of maintenance, repair, fabrication, installation and modification work on buildings/components, offices, corridors, etc. Assures work quality and progress in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement, JHH standards, and local, state and federal codes. This work is performed under limited supervision and using the tools and techniques of carpentry technology.Take a tour of our campus : Hours : Full time (40 hours), Day Shift, Weekdays Location : Johns Hopkins Hospital, 600 N Wolfe St., Baltimore, MD 21287 Requirements/Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent required. Requires the completion of formal training in a state-approved Journey Carpentry program at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization. Must possess a level of knowledge and skill demonstrated through passing the certification examRequires 10 years related work experience, of which at least 5 years has been in a supervisory capacity.

Minimum 29.84/hour - Maximum 52.23/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
