The ServiceNow Lead System Architect will be the technical lead responsible for developing strategy and project plan for transferring Asset Management processing from the Micro Focus Asset Manager onto an existing Service Now enterprise platform. This initial effort in the ITAM implementation project will focus on discovering agency ITAM needs, designing ITAM processes to meet those needs, and building integrations with external SSA systems to support those designs. The ideal candidate must have deep experience with enterprise solution architectures with a variety of technologies, but focused in low-code/no-code environments such as ServiceNow, possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to build innovative business solutions using the ServiceNow platform. The Lead System Architect role is a thought leader who should possess a proven track record of leading technical design in collaboration with business and other technologists. Work will include design and build components of enterprise applications and provide consultative guidance on all project assignments for our clients. Working on-site at a customer location, this role will work as part of a project team to ensure that the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer requirements.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of work experience; Masters and 5 years of experience; or a minimum 11 years of work experience in lieu of a degree. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more ServiceNow Platform areas 8 years of relevant design and architecture experience5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and/or IT Business Management (ITBM) 3 years of experience in one or more ServiceNow Platform implementation areas 2 years of experience as a customer liaison in a technical area2 years of experience with the following:
Documenting ServiceNow standards Agile (Scrum) Creating system architecture diagrams and documentation for review by both technical and non-technical audiences
Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green card holder) Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance Preferred Qualifications:
Prior SSA experience a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with process flow documentation creation, presentation and conducting trainings. Experience with implementing DevOps (Test and CI/CD) in a ServiceNow environment Experience with Oracle and stored procedures using PL/SQLExperience with designing and implementing REST based API integration services
