Job Description

The General Production Worker supports daily manufacturing operations in a plastic production facility by preparing materials, assisting with coating and finishing processes, inspecting parts for quality, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. This role suits someone who is reliable, comfortable with physical tasks, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials and components for use in plastic manufacturing processes.
  • Assist with coating, finishing, and related production activities according to established procedures.
  • Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Handle general labor tasks such as moving materials, loading and unloading items, and organizing workstations.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area by following housekeeping and safety guidelines.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete daily production tasks.
  • Operate basic production tools and equipment after receiving appropriate training.
  • Report any issues with materials, equipment, or product quality to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support team members as needed to meet production goals and deadlines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
