On-Board Engineering is hiring a Civil Structural Engineer in Baton Rouge, LA!

Position Details:

Position Type: Full Time

Job Location: Hybrid- remote and in-person support of our teams in Baton Rouge, LA and Geismar, LA

Benefits: Health Plans (Medical, Dental, Vision), PTO, Paid Holidays, and 401k

Compensation: $50/hr - $65/hr+ based upon qualifications and experience.

Qualifications and Duties:

- Experience – 3+ Years

Design of steel structures (buildings, pipe rack, equipment support structures, etc.)

Design of reinforced concrete structures and foundations.

Wood and Cold Formed Steel design experience a plus.

Familiar with ASCE and IBC Codes.

Field experience in chemical / industrial plant settings

AutoCAD proficiency a plus

Ability to work remotely with Project Teams effectively

Ability to work on site when required

Education – BSCE or similar

PE License a plus. Ability to get license strongly recommended.
