Manufacturing is in our client's DNA. They began as a family owned business over 70 years ago. Our client manufactures and markets suet and seed cakes, bird feeders and wildlife supplies. Having pioneered the suet cake, they continue to craft them, along with other products, in their Coopersville, Michigan plant. Their products are sold to retailers and distributors, across the US and abroad, serving the home, lawn, and garden markets.

Suet Production / Packer Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $15.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift

Manufacturing of bird seed bricks (Suet)

1st SHIFT: 7am - 5:30pm Monday - Thursday

JOB DUTIES: Mixing beef fat with seeds, some pouring beef fat by hand, packing with shrink wrap machine, Unloading/loading machine, Quality checks, packaging/stacking end-product

PAY RATE: $15/hr

DRESS CODE: Pants, shirt, closed toed shoes

PPE: Safety glasses must be work

WORK ENVIRONMENT: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing all day

SCHEDULE: 7am - 5:30pm; Monday - Thursday

ADDITIONAL INFO: **Employee locker offered but lock is self provided**

Suet Production / Packer Qualifications:

• Assembly of bird houses and kits

• Pick and assemble parts for orders

• Follow directions of team lead or supervisor

• Package and or wrap finished products

• Standing, Walking, bending during shift

• May help in other departments as needed

• Ability to lift consistency.

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist throughout shift.

• General understanding of assembly procedures.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
