Mortgage Loan Coordinator, Bellevue

Symetra is seeking a Mortgage Loans Coordinator to join our Commercial Mortgage Loan Team!

About the role

In this position is responsible for supporting the Loan Servicing team. You?ll work closely with your team members creating electronic loan files, data entry, downloading documentation submitted through an online web portal, processing new loan applications, ordering reports, preparing documents and letters, boarding new loans, accounting functions and other specific tasks as assigned by the group manager. Some duties such as vault access and notarizing require you to be in office. We offer a flex schedule of 2-3 days in our Bellevue office/ 2-3 days remote.

Our Commercial Mortgage Loans team is part of Symetra Investment Management (SIM) which was established in 2019 and is a subsidiary of Symetra who is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Life of Japan. SIM enables Sumitomo to invest in the U.S. markets and to expand in-house asset management capabilities. SIM is also an SEC-registered investment advisor providing third party investment management to institutional clients.

Hourly Range: $20.10-33.45 plus eligibility for annual bonus program

Who you are

• 1+ years in relevant experience or exposure to commercial mortgage lending.
• Strong oral communication skills enabling positive and effective one-on-one interaction with a wide variety of individuals.
• Excellent customer service experience with a can-do attitude toward service.
• Ability to accept direction from multiple sources and effectively translate direction into action.
• Writing skills enabling effective communication of expectations and actions.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organization skills.
• Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple transactions at a time with minimal direction. Proficient in Microsoft Office products; Word Excel, Outlook, Edge, Adobe Acrobat, Dynamics CRM.
• Loan system software experience or equivalent preferred.
• Notary or willing to obtain
