Manager, Software Dev, Seller Transportation and Operation, Bellevue

• 7+ years of experience working directly within engineering teams
• Experience partnering with product OR program management teams
• 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers
• 3+ years of experience architecting and designing (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems

Bachelor?s degree in Computer science, Math, Statistics or related field
6+ years of Software Development experience, leveraging object-oriented concepts, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms, utilizing C++, Java, C#, JavaScript, or a similar language.
3+ years of experience managing software development teams, and experience managing managers (leader of leaders).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with ability to explain complex technical concepts and analysis implications clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
Demonstrated success in identifying and prioritizing business questions, and using quantitative techniques using available data to deliver solutions to address these questions
Job summary Seller Fulfillment Service (SFS) team has a bold vision to provide the end to end seller experience on shipping eligibility, shipping charge, shipping promise, order fulfillment, buy shipping experience and seller performance tracking as well as the world class delivery experience for buyers. We are looking for an engineering leader to lead the next-generation one-stop multiple channel buy shipping experience. This is a green field in Amazon with a huge impact which solves the buy shipping needs of millions of order per second. As a SDM owning the emerging services, you will be directly responsible for the definition and evolution of the new large-scale tech initiative. You will have a unique opportunity to impact millions of sellers and buyers by providing such ground-breaking features generating billions of dollars of revenue per year.
