Telecommunications Solution Lead, Redmond

CO+I is responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability. The Infrastructure Planning and Acquisition Center of Excellence team (IPA CoE) is responsible for enabling and optimizing the foundation that supports infrastructure delivery for Land, Energy, Networking, Datacenter Planning and Cost Management through efficient processes, data driven decision making, innovation, and automated and integrated tool sets.
As a Program Manager on the TRIM Engineering team, you will be responsible for deploying and managing solutions focused on automating and supporting our telecommunications related infrastructure. These solutions will reduce the time to deliver services as well as increase data accuracy and completeness.

• Engage with our telecommunications partners to negotiate deliverables, track project progress, and coordinate TRIM feature readiness with engineering.
• Drive accuracy and alignment between internal TRIM inventory system data and external supplier provided data. Utilize Power BI data to spot trends and establish a plan for reducing gaps and defects.
• Resolve challenges raised against inventory accuracy from accounts payable, field technicians, engineering, and sourcing.
• TRIM advocate and advancement: Build a strong understanding of the CI+A business process aligned with TRIM expertise, drive excitement and adaptation of the application by identifying future product improvements.
• Manage the process of change requests from customers - ensuring integrity of the original business case and incorporating into schedule.
• As a customer advocate, partner with support teams to address and prioritize escalations and deliver solutions.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or 3+ years of related professional experience.
• 5+ years? experience in telecommunications industry focusing on orders, contracts, inventory management, and invoicing.
• 5+ years of experience in program or product management defining, driving, and delivering optimized solutions.
• Track record of effectively collaborating across teams and disciplines as a contributor or leader.
• Proven ability to define customer-focused scenarios, wireframing the voice-of-the-customer into a visually proposed solution and lead virtual teams to ensure that solutions are delivered end-to-end.
• Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, OneNote, SharePoint, and Teams Channels.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or 5 years in Telecommunications experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects of varying timelines while managing project expectations.
• Familiarity with high-level datacenter telecom infrastructure in Microsoft Owned facilities and leased sites.
• Highly organized and able to oversee concurrent projects and focus under pressure.
• Structured thinking and logic with very strong analytical skills.
• Customer service obsessed, able to translate customer needs and highly technical management teams.
• Continually demonstrate a growth mindset, acquiring new skills while maintaining your development and adaptability.
• Familiar with identifying and addressing complex issues between Telecommunications ordering contracts, current inventory records, and invoices received.
