Job Summary:

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II who will play a key role in back-end development, focusing on designing, developing, and implementing large-scale, distributed software applications in a Linux environment. This role involves working on critical projects related to managing cross-border documentation for Amazon global logistics and system improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and the ability to lead complex projects, ensuring best practice engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, document, and implement large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications and services.

Gather and analyze business and functional requirements; translate requirements into technical specifications.

Own delivery of system/application parts; lead technical aspects of complex projects.

Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation.

Provide 24x7 on-call support; travel for onsite troubleshooting or project launch as required.

Must-Have Skills:

3+ years of Object-oriented programming experience with Java/.Net

Experience with distributed systems/event-driven architecture

Proficiency in cloud technologies like Azure/AWS

Industry Experience:

Specific experience in multi-threaded programming and distributed programming in Java or C++ on Linux, JDBC, SQL.
