Job Title: Instructional Designer – Logistics
Location: Hybrid in Bellevue, WA (3 days onsite; 2 days remote)
Pay Rate: $50 - 60/hour depending on experience
Contract Length: 3-month W2 contract (potential for extension or conversion)

Our client is looking for a creative, experienced, and motivated Instructional Designer to join their high-impact training team. You’ll be responsible for developing engaging learning content that supports the training and upskilling of their T1 associates—the backbone of our client's logistics operations. What You’ll Do:
Design and develop comprehensive training programs for Logistics’ frontline employees
Create interactive and visually engaging e-learning modules using Articulate Rise and Articulate 360
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), operations managers, and other key stakeholders
Transform technical content into effective and approachable learning materials
Develop performance support tools and job aids to reinforce learning on the job
Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) for content deployment and tracking
Contribute to process improvement by incorporating feedback and learning analytics
Work independently while staying closely aligned with a tight-knit team of instructional designers
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of instructional design experience, preferably in a logistics, warehouse, or operations setting
Proven expertise with Articulate Rise and Articulate 360
Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design best practices
Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Ability to simplify complex procedures into clear, action-based training objectives
Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations
Familiarity with microlearning and just-in-time training techniques
Graphic design skills (especially Adobe Creative Suite)
Experience in video production and multimedia content development
Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design
Basic data analysis skills for evaluating training effectiveness
