SAP BTP CAP Developer, Bellevue

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled

SAP BTP CAP Developer

to design and develop cloud-native applications and services on

SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

using the

Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) .

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building scalable, API-first enterprise applications using

Node.js or Java , modeling business data using

CDS , and exposing secure

OData/REST APIs . The role also requires experience with SAP BTP security, authentication, authorization, and multitenancy concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

Design and develop cloud-native applications and microservices using SAP CAP on SAP BTP. Build scalable backend services using:

Node.js Java

Develop reusable and maintainable enterprise-grade solutions. Data Modeling

Design and implement data models using:

CDS (Core Data Services)

Define entities, associations, validations, and business logic. API Development

Expose and manage:

OData services REST APIs

Implement API-first architecture principles for enterprise integrations. SAP BTP Platform Integration

Work with SAP BTP services and cloud-native capabilities. Configure and manage:

Authentication Authorization Role collections XSUAA security

Implement multitenancy support for SaaS applications. Collaboration&Delivery

Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and frontend developers. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, and deployments. Ensure high-quality coding standards, testing, and documentation. Required Skills
