These services are considered part of The ProSidian Transport&Logistics Sector Group with overall focus being Transport&Logistics (TLT) Sector Group: Solutions To Move Transport&Logistics Strategy Forward. for clients such as National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). ProSidian, a forward-thinking management and consulting firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Research Assistant to contribute to a groundbreaking initiative focused on understanding drivers' attitudes and behaviors related to alcohol and non-alcohol drug use. The Research Assistant will play a vital role in supporting various project tasks, aiding in data collection, equipment setup, and documentation to ensure the project's success.The Research Assistant assists the Project Manager in any number of tasks, such as obtaining archival documents or data, and verifying and compiling data. The Research Assistant takes on other responsibilities such as helping prepare data collection materials and acquire or set up project equipment or supplies.As part of a collaborative venture with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), we are seeking a seasoned and adept team member to work on a comprehensive survey project aimed at enhancing road safety and reducing the risks associated with impaired driving. By joining our team, you will spearhead a significant project that has the potential to contribute to safer roadways and improved public safety.Responsibilities and Duties Assist the Project Director and project team in various research-related tasks, including obtaining archival documents, data verification, and data compilation. Collaborate in the preparation of data collection materials, equipment setup, and other logistical aspects of the project.Support the execution of survey-related activities, potentially involving participant recruitment and data capture. Contribute to maintaining accurate and organized project records, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Engage in effective communication with team members, sharing insights and updates to foster a cohesive project environment.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Social Sciences or Public Health. Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Effective written and verbal communication abilities.Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Public Health). Entry-level position, with a demonstrated interest in research and project support. Skills Required Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail. Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
