Description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and facilitate MRB meetings to review and disposition nonconforming materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of MRB activities, including NCRs (Nonconformance Reports), dispositions, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely processing of nonconforming material to minimize production delays.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to determine root cause and appropriate disposition (rework, use-as-is, scrap, return to vendor).
  • Track and report MRB metrics and trends to support quality improvement efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and customer requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to MRB and nonconformance processes.
  • Inspect and evaluate electronic components and assemblies for conformance to specifications.
  • Support MRB (Material Review Board) activities by preparing documentation, coordinating meetings, and tracking dispositions.
  • Help to perform root cause analysis on quality issues using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
  • Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality investigations.
  • Support internal audits and customer quality requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality system enhancements.

Skills:
  • Working knowledge of GD&T, and technical drawings
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools, microscopes, and inspection equipment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC standards, or similar quality frameworks.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Education/Experience:
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
