The Plateau Travel Plaza is opening soon, and we are building a strong culinary team to support Three Teepees Café in our newly remodeled and expanded property.We are currently seeking a Line Cook to help prepare quality meals in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented kitchen. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, thrives during busy service times, and takes pride in preparing food that keeps guests coming back. What You'll Do

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking line Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient serviceMonitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation Assist with cleaning duties at the end of shifts Support a positive and respectful kitchen environment Benefits, Compensation,&Perks

The starting wage for a Line Cook is $18.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus a shift differential for non‑standard hours, ranging from an additional $0.50 to $2.50 per hour, depending on the shift worked. Qualifications

A few qualities we're looking for: Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred, but not required Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen environment Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn) Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and performing physical tasks throughout a shiftReliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to pass a criminal history background check and pre-employment drug testing Must be 18 years of age or older Plateau Travel Plaza is a wholly owned and operated enterprise of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.
