We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Silverdale, WA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
Current Washington state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
One year experience as an RRT or CRT.
(Client accepts either RRT or CRT).
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow therapy, and drawing ABGs.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience required, including competency with bubble CPAP for infants 32 weeks and up.
Experience working inpatient respiratory services and familiarity with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis equipment preferred.
Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a hospital setting covering inpatient units and occasional ED patients.
Prior experience providing standby support for conscious sedation and cardioversion.
Experience assisting with intubations.
Assignment Details
Shift pattern: nights, 3x12s.
Typical scheduled hours: *******:30.
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.
Orientation: 12 hours department-specific orientation.
Weekend requirement: yes.
Holiday requirement: one holiday.
Lead therapist on staff every shift; typically 4+ RTs on night shift.
Washington state auto-deduction: Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax; you may re-add that back in.
