Credit and Collections Manager, Birmingham, AL

Great leadership opportunity with an established firm in Birmingham. You will lead our accounts receivable functions while elevating our credit department. Lead by example, while performing the duties of managing credit risk, optimizing cash flow, and driving effective collection strategies.  You'll have portfolio oversight, ability to implement process improvement plans, develop employees, and work with other leaders to drive growth.

Responsibilities

Seeking a hands-on Credit and Collections Department Manager for a working management role. You will balance team leadership with direct, branch-level involvement to optimize accounts receivable, aggressively lower Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and secure a predictable, steady weekly revenue stream.  Oversee company accounts receivable and provide strategic support to the credit department.  Must have extensive credit and collections experience specifically within the construction sector.  Knowledge of lien waivers and lien filings in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida is highly preferred.  Willing to train and develop your staff.
