We are conducting a confidential search for a

Chemical / Process Engineer

to support heavy industrial projects based out of

Birmingham, Alabama . This role will focus on process design, calculations, and technical support for capital and improvement projects. Key Responsibilities Support process engineering and design for industrial systems Develop and review

P&IDs, process calculations, mass balances, and technical documentation Assist with process studies, optimization efforts, and equipment evaluations Coordinate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and project teams Support project execution and technical problem-solving Qualifications 5–20 years of chemical or process engineering experienceIndustrial or process manufacturing background preferred Experience with

P&IDs, engineering calculations, WinGEMS, Aspen , or similar tools Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field required
