Title Clerk Opportunity
PrideStaff is hiring a full-time Title Clerk in Tuscaloosa, AL. Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM. Pay: $16$18 per hour (DOE). Key Responsibilities
Title&Registration Processing:
Manage all vehicle titles (new, used, and wholesale) and process online registrations and license plates with the DMV. Prepare documents for the tag agency and submit legal transfers, ensuring all tag and title work is compliant with state regulations. Sales Documentation&Finance:
Prepare and process all sales paperwork, including purchases, trade-ins, leasing, and loan documentation. Verify sale costs, generate necessary tax and title documents, and secure bank lien releases. Expedite retail sales transactions. Administrative&Problem Solving:
Review legal documents to catch and correct errors. Resolve processing delays by contacting appropriate parties and gathering information. Upload and manage documents, provide general administrative help, and always adhere to company values. Qualifications
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years as a title clerk in an auto dealership or tag agency. Knowledge of out-of-state titles is a plus. Detail Orientation:
Must have meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy, especially when handling 17-digit VINs. Work Ethic:
Self-motivated, teachable, and efficient at multitasking to meet deadlines. Strong follow-up skills are essential for timely completion. Skills:
Proficient in organizing and maintaining files in alphanumeric order. Experience in a fast-paced office environment is desirable. Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
