Kratos provides U.S. industrial credibility and speed; Rafael transfers decades of combat-proven designs, manufacturing IP, and technical training to ensure field-ready products from day one.Job Description The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for leading and overseeing the organizationis industrial security program. This role ensures compliance with all applicable government regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The position serves as a key liaison with government agencies and internal leadership to protect classified information and maintain facility clearances.Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the industrial security program, ensuring full compliance with NISPOM and related requirements Achieve, maintain and administer facility security clearances (FCLs) Administer personnel security clearance (PCLs) program Serve as primary interface with government agencies (e.g., DCSA) for inspections, audits, and ongoing complianceDevelop, implement, and standardize security policies, procedures, and best practices Conduct internal security audits and assessments; lead corrective actions as needed Ensure proper handling, safeguarding, storage, and transmission of classified information and materials Oversee insider threat, security education, and training programsSupport classified contract execution, including DD254 reviews and security guidance to program teams Manage incident reporting, investigations, and resolution of security violations Maintain accurate records and systems (e.g., DISS, NISS) in accordance with regulatory requirements Partner with HR, IT, and Legal to ensure integrated security compliance

Clearance Requirement Active DoD Secret clearance, with ability to maintain clearance

Preferred Qualifications FSO certification and/or completion of DCSA training courses Experience with DISS, NISS, and other security systems Experience managing audits and inspections with successful outcomes Experience working with international business partners within the defense industry Experience working with design and construction teams on security requirements for new facility build
