Humanities Interventionist
to join our community. In this role, the Interventionist partners closely with classroom teachers to design and deliver impactful, push-in support within the general education setting. This includes collaborating on intervention planning, supporting data collection to measure effectiveness, and providing targeted small-group or individualized instruction. Youll meet weekly with team members to analyze student data, refine strategies, and determine next steps.This position is ideal for an educator who thrives as an active, self-directed thought partnersomeone dedicated to supporting students, particularly during their first two years of high school, as they build critical academic skills and confidence. Spanish language skills are strongly preferred . Position Details: Full-time, 10-month role (early August through mid-June) Paid through a Minneapolis Public Schools vendor Located at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Minneapolis On-site position
(no hybrid or remote option; must be available to work in Minneapolis) Join us in making a lasting difference in students lives through intentional, data-driven support and meaningful collaboration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct Academic Intervention Implement Tier 2 and 3 academic interventions for identified students experiencing learning loss.Administer high-quality, reliable assessments as needed to assess students academic progress. Collaborate with Academic and Corporate Work Study teams to teach strategies that build students positive habits and Executive Function skills. Provide information and supports to families regarding students academic progress.Attend appropriate grade-team and department team meetings. Have a desire for continuous learning about MTSS and best practice in intervention. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree with a major, minor, or comparable credential of content expertise in History, Secondary Education with a Social Studies Emphasis, or other applicable degrees.Minimum of 3 years successful high school or middle school teaching or tutoring experience. Knowledge of best practices in secondary education and competency in designing and implementing curricula to serve a heterogeneous student population diverse in culture, religion, and ability. Ability to connect with culturally and linguistically diverse students and their families.Commitment to the mission of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate, and cultivate a loving, joyful school culture. Complete Virtus training, sign a Code of Conduct, and pass a background check. Willingness to participate in Ignatian Immersion professional development program.Preferred Qualifications: State of Minnesota teachers license; Intervention designation strongly preferred. Multilingual skills; Spanish strongly preferred. Proficient in data management and analysis. Familiarity or willingness to learn PowerSchool, Excel, Google sheets, and other technology tools.Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Support Services (MTSS). Compensation details:
