Asset Finance Collections Representative II
The Asset Finance Collections Representative II is responsible for the overall effective management of delinquency levels of an assigned portfolio of accounts within the 1-60 day aging categories. This involves making outbound calls and sending letters to delinquent customers as necessary to collect past due amounts, reconciliation of payment and billing histories and negotiation of payment arrangements. Periodically pulls and analyzes credit information from various sources in order to recommend appropriate actions on problem accounts.Duties and Responsibilities: Manage delinquency levels within the assigned portfolio through the use of outbound calls, letters and use of third-party providers. Assist customers with account reconciliations utilizing payment and billing histories. Access and analyze appropriate credit information (i.e. consumer and commercial credit bureau reports) when appropriate.Sending email communications with the "outbound calls" as one of the methods to contact. Communicate effectively with customers and/or their representatives as well as internal business partners to effectively solve delinquency issues. Recommend paths to resolution to customers and internal stakeholders including negotiation of payment arrangements.Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or banking experience. 2+ years of prior consumer or commercial collections experience. Preferred Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to multitask in a deadline driven fast paced environment. Ability to make sound responsible decisions in a timely manner. Thorough knowledge of various software programs including Word and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn additional systems/software.Exempt Status: No Workplace Type: Office Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Compensation Range: 22.00 - 41.50 USD Hourly The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
