Personal Lines Account Manager - Perm, Florida

Job Description:

Our direct client located in Boca Raton, FL has an immediate need for a Personal Lines Account Manager for a fully on-site, permanent opportunity.

The Personal Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of insurance clients, offering property/casualty insurance products and providing customer service and support. You will assess client needs, provide advice, and help clients understand their coverage options. You will also work to retain existing clients and generate new business.

Key Responsibilities

Managing client accounts:

Maintaining client files, updating information, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Providing customer service:

Responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing claims.

Selling insurance products:

Identifying client needs and offering appropriate property/casualty insurance coverage.

Cross-selling:

Identifying opportunities to expand client accounts and introduce additional insurance products.

Retention and growth:

Focusing on retaining existing clients while also generating new business through referrals and other leads.

Compliance:

Understanding and adhering to state and federal insurance regulations and guidelines.

Skills:

Understanding of personal lines insurance products, coverage, and underwriting.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients.

Ability to troubleshoot claims and resolve issues, requiring analytical and critical thinking.

Ability to identify client needs, recommend appropriate policies, and close sales.

Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, and insurance-specific software.

Qualifications:

A 220 License

5 years of experience in a personal lines account management position

Previous experience with property/casualty insurance

Underwriting experience
