$80,000–$110,000 base salary (negotiable for strong candidates; may exceed for Professional Engineers)

None specified About the opportunity An established MEP consulting engineering team is hiring a Plumbing Engineer or Plumbing Designer to support plumbing system design and coordinated construction documents across a variety of building projects. Responsibilities Plumbing design production

Design plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare, education, residential, and multifamily buildings Prepare plumbing plans, specifications, and construction documents

Sizing, layout, and code application

Perform system sizing and layout Apply plumbing codes and design standards to design decisions

Coordination and construction support

Coordinate with mechanical and electrical disciplines Support multi-story building projects with repetitive system layouts Review shop drawings and assist during construction phases

Qualifications

Required qualifications

4 or more years of experience in an MEP or consulting engineering environment Plumbing building systems design experience Proficiency in AutoCAD (skills may be evaluated) Working knowledge of plumbing codes and design standards

Preferred qualifications

Revit experience strongly preferred Professional Engineer license or Engineer in Training is a plus and may impact compensation Bachelor’s degree preferred
