Amp; Communications Consultant, Boston

Position Overview:

Spencer Thomas Group (STG) is currently looking to add to our team of consultants under our HCM Now practice, seeking a part time change and communications expert on a part time basis.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Change mgmt. and communication activities supporting the Payroll and Time & Attendance transformation project, including:

Escalation and mitigation of risks

Change impact assessments

Completion of all change management deliverables and report outs

Ensure all changes are documented, understood and effectively managed to resolution. Understanding all of changes and their impact is critical to this role.

Customizing existing change & comms plans and materials per country needs (based on partnering with in country resources)

General stakeholder engagement ensuring all stakeholders are informed of the necessary detail of the projects and relevant changes.

Defines and delivers high quality change communications content ensuring all stakeholders are informed of the necessary detail regarding project changes throughout the lifecycle of the project. This includes internal and external stakeholders and includes communications via email, presentation, newsletters, monthly updates, etc.

Host Teams Town Hall meetings

Maintain Sharepoint site with artifacts

Coordinate email distributions via corporate comms channels

Coordinate (physical) post card mailer distribution

Required Qualification(s):

Demonstrated experience in leading Change & Comms in complex programs

Deep understanding and passion for change management

Fluency of the English language (verbal and written)

Experience with Payroll, Time or HR required

Experience of leading Change in a complex Payroll, Time or HR implementation a plus

Excellent project planning and presentation skills

Excellent communication skills – verbal, written form and presentation

Demonstrated experience in delivering high quality content that communicates simply and clearly complex changes

Ability to operate independently and leading through ambiguity and change, and capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Duration: This is a project-based consulting opportunity with an immediate start date, with an initial duration through January 2026, with the possibility of extending.
