Receiving and Processing Shipments:
Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, check for damage, and confirm compliance with company standards.
Sort, label, and store items in designated locations following inventory management protocols.
Order Fulfillment:
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently to minimize damage and delays.
Inventory Management:
Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
Update inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Facility Maintenance:
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Participate in team meetings to discuss process improvements and address challenges.
Compliance and Safety:
Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Participate in safety training programs and actively contribute to a culture of workplace safety.
Additional Warehouse Duties:
Support special projects, such as inventory relocation or seasonal order surges, as needed.
Assist in training new team members to uphold company standards.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Must-have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic math skills for inventory and order accuracy.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods.
Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice-to-have:
Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain role.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
Certification in forklift or other material-handling equipment operation.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse settings.
Effective communication skills for team collaboration and problem-solving.
