A day-in-the-life of a Sales Director will include:Sourcing and qualifying target accounts who are using HubSpot and could benefit from our retainer and/or project-based servicesSourcing and qualifying target accounts not yet using HubSpot who would be a strong fit to adopt the platform and engage us for implementation and beyondFollowing up with inbound leads in a timely, professional mannerBuilding and nurturing referral relationships with HubSpot AEs, CSMs and other internal HubSpot employeesKeeping HubSpot CRM up-to-date with accurate notes and next steps on contact, company and deal recordsCreating and maintaining sales playbooks, templates and documentation to support a repeatable, scalable sales processBuilding relationships with PE firms, agencies and other vendor partners who need a go-to HubSpot agency for referralsLeading initiatives related partner programs, including HubSpot and SuperedCreating and managing targeted outreach campaigns and sales sequences to engage new and dormant leadsConducting discovery calls to understand business goals and translating them into HubSpot-aligned strategies and project scopesIndependently writing, presenting and refining proposalsNegotiating pricing, scope and contract terms to close new businessProfessionally disqualifying and referring out leads that are not a good fitStaying current on HubSpot product updates and new featuresCollaborating with the project team to ensure smooth handoff and onboarding of new clientsSupporting marketing and thought leadership efforts, including recording tutorial videos, sharing insights on LinkedIn and contributing to content strategyParticipating in leadership discussions to evaluate sales performance and establish strategic objectives for agency growthThis job would be an awesome fit if you have:5+ years of consultative sales experience at a marketing agency, preferably a HubSpot partnerDeep familiarity with the HubSpot platform, especially Marketing Hub and Sales HubA solid understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (SEO, paid media, email marketing, etc.) and how they connect to a HubSpot-centered tech stackExperience crafting strategic proposals for marketing retainers, CRM implementations and complex website projectsThe confidence to lead discovery calls, ask tough questions and present recommendations to C-suite and VP-level stakeholdersA consultative, client-focused mindsetyoure not just selling, youre solvingThe ability to manage multiple deals, follow-ups and deadlines without dropping ballsA track record of building referral or channel partnerships that result in qualified opportunities
