Insurance Biller Position
Location: Quincy, IL Pay Range: $***** - $***** per hour | Based on Relevant Experience Schedule: Full-Time, Monday Friday, 8:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m.
About the Role: We're looking to hire an Insurance Biller to join our team!
This role is responsible for accurate claims processing, timely follow-up on outstanding insurance balances, and maintaining compliance with payer guidelinesall essential to ensuring efficient revenue cycle operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage claims follow-up via electronic work lists
Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding insurance claims per payor contracts
Review and work aging accounts and unpaid claims
Maintain knowledge of billing guidelines for third-party, workers' comp, and government payers
Communicate with departments and external agencies to resolve account issues

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
1+ year of experience in healthcare claims or bookkeeping (preferred)
Governmental payer billing experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
