Job Description Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 SMMA is seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer to join SMMAs Site Design team, a talented group of designers and problem-solvers. This position is for a senior engineer that will leadand managethe site design through all phases of a project. Given SMMAs integrated and multidisciplinary composition, the role affords a chance to coordinate and work closely with staff

acrossnumerousareas

of

designexpertiseandprovides

exposure to a variety of project and client types.

The candidate will be active throughout projects full lifecycles, from concept design to final construction documents, and during construction administration. The position includes environmental permitting applications and processes

atfederal,state,and

local levels.

Key Responsibilities: Leading the development ofsite plans for a variety of land-development and building projects Leading the design ofstormwater management and utility systems Leading the preparation of sitepermitting applications andsupporting reports Responsible for issuing project documents for constructionOverseeing andparticipatingin construction administration activities Managingand mentoringproject staff Preparationofproposals

for site-leadprojects, orassistin the preparation

ofotherinterdisciplinaryproposals Perform internal quality review ofdocuments for avarietyof interdisciplinary projects

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering 12+yearsexperience Registration as a Professional Engineer Experience with a variety of design software and programs (AutoCAD, Civil 3D,Hydrocad) as well as Microsoft Office Strong communicationand interpersonal skillsarerequired

The approximate pay range for Cambridge, MA is $100,000 - $130,000.
