Machinist / Manufacturing Operator Cleanroom Environment Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machinist / Manufacturing Operator to support production operations in a regulated cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role involves operating computer-controlled machining equipment, performing inspections, maintaining documentation, and following GMP, ISO, FDA, and safety standards. Candidates must be comfortable working with Cow Hide / Biological Material and operating in a full cleanroom gowning environment. reading, and writing skills in English. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with full body gowning. Experience with chemical handling and safety procedures. Able to comply with cleanroom requirements: no jewelry, makeup, hair spray, or perfume (only wedding bands allowed). Comfortable working in a team environment. OK working with Cow Hide / Biological Material. Key Responsibilities Operate computer-controlled manufacturing equipment including: Swiss lathes Automated parts washers Grinders Honing equipment Centerless grinders Perform dimensional and visual inspections according to print specifications. Complete First Article Inspections (FAI). Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Record production and quality data accurately in manufacturing systems. Support ISO, FDA, environmental, health, and safety compliance. Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery and equipment. Maintain productivity, quality, and dependability standards. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 0 3 years of manufacturing, production, machining, or operations experience. Basic computer and mechanical skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Basic math skills including decimals and percentages. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Comfortable working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Citizen Lathes, Haas Grinders, Sunnen Hone, Centerless Grinders, or Fanuc Robotics. Precision machining experience. Experience inspecting and testing manufactured components. Medical device manufacturing experience. Experience in GMP or regulated manufacturing environments. Experience using measurement tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, verniers, shadowgraphs, and gauges. Additional Requirements Cleanroom experience is required. Proficient with computers. Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and follow procedures accurately.
