Our client, an industry leader in optical fiber manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Hollowcore Engineer/Scientist to join their dynamic team. As a key contributor in the Engineering Department supporting process development and manufacturing excellence, you will have the opportunity to influence cutting-edge fiber technologies. Lead the development and optimization of hollow core fiber (HCF) draw processes to enhance quality, reliability, and scalability. Investigate the relationship between process parameters, fiber properties, and manufacturing outcomes to drive continuous improvement.Develop innovative solutions to improve process uniformity, throughput, and defect reduction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop equipment and techniques for process enhancement. Conduct process trials, analyze data, and document procedures to support operational excellence and training initiatives.What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in process development, manufacturing, or related technical environments. Experience with Hollow Core Fiber (HCF) draw processes is preferred.Proficiency in data analysis, experimental design, and process optimization methods.
