MANAGEMENT TRAINING PROGRAM– MARYLAND We're seeking recent college graduates (Spring 2026 graduates) for our Management Training Program who are enthusiastic and eager to learn about the residential real estate industry. This comprehensive 6–8-week paid training program is designed to provide a dynamic introduction to multifamily property management and prepare you for a successful career in real estate. Starting in July 2026 (exact date TBD), you'll receive hands-on corporate and field training at our Maryland regional office and on-site at local properties. You'll learn all aspects of property operations, from leasing and marketing to maintenance and financial management. Upon completion, trainees are placed as Assistant Property Managers or Leasing Consultants, with a clear path for advancement. Many of our past trainees have been promoted to Property Manager and Regional Property Manager positions. As a Management Training Program participant, your training will cover: Property Operations: Leasing apartments and resident screening processes Renewal procedures and resident retention strategies Daily property management operations Marketing&Market Analysis: Conducting market studies and competitive analysis Developing property marketing plans Shopping competitor properties to understand market positioning Learning leasing best practices and sales techniques Maintenance&Facilities: Understanding maintenance procedures and work order management Learning about capital improvement plans Property inspection protocols and quality standards Emergency procedures and crisis management Financial&Administrative: Introduction to accounting and accounts payable procedures Budget basics and financial reporting Understanding property financial performance Professional Development: Fair Housing compliance training Communication skills and business etiquette Customer service excellence Team building and leadership development Field Experience: Regular visits to Dolben properties throughout the region Hands-on learning with experienced property management teams Exposure to various property types and operations What You Bring to Us: Recent graduate (within 1 year) from an accredited college or university Bachelor's degree in any field (Business, Real Estate, Hospitality, Communications preferred but not required) Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Customer service oriented with genuine desire to help others Team building and team leading abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Genuine interest in a career in real estate and/or multifamily property management Professional demeanor and positive attitude Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and take initiative Available to start in July 2026 What We Bring to You: The Dolben Company is a dynamic real estate company with a family inspired culture developing and managing best in class communities throughout NE, Mid-Atlantic and Southwest FL.
