Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. This position is for day shifts. The COTA will provide skilled therapeutic interventions and support to patients at the Southwest Montana Veterans Home. The role requires collaboration with occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans, focusing on improving patients' functional abilities and enhancing their quality of life.Responsibilities: Assist in the delivery of occupational therapy interventions as per treatment plans. Document patient progress and response to treatment effectively. Educate patients and their families about therapeutic activities and strategies. Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the occupational therapist.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
