Electrical Troubleshooter, Butte

Responsibilities

Instrumentation and Electrical troubleshooting. This includes maintaining and troubleshooting the following equipment: large electric shovels, haul truck communication systems, large pumping station motor control centers, synchronous mill starters and numerous variable speed drive systems. Perform other duties as assigned by operation needs and electrical foremanPosition is assigned to an Operating crew and will work rotating 12-hr shifts. Limited call-outs.

Qualifications

Applicant must be capable of working safely around high voltage including substation work. Must have a minimum of 4 years industrial electrical experience and have a good working knowledge of high voltage 3 phase power systems, DC drives, VFD's, PLC's and electronic control systems. . Ability to work safely around high and low voltage electrical circuitsSafety Record, Attitude, Attendance and Work Performance will be considered prior to the interview process.
