Banking Services Operations Associate III - Adjustment Services, Bridgeport

Overview: Primary Responsibilities: Complete quality reviews and mailing of MICR and TRA correspondence. Provide phone support for internal calls. Provide assistance with moderate training within the department. Process adjustments between banks via appropriate online systems. Resolve routine adjustment-related problems independently and within established procedures; escalate more complex problems to management. Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. Complete other related duties as assigned. Scope of Responsibilities: Supervisor/Managerial Responsibilities: Education and Experience Required: Associates' degree, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 2 years' higher education and/or work experience Proven data entry skills Proven personal computer skills Education and Experience Preferred: Some post-high school education Minimum of 3 years' banking experience within an operations unit or the department Reconciliation skills Physical Requirements: M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees.
