Production / Training Pilot Rotary and Mission Systems Stratford, Connecticut E6194:Production/Training Pilot Stf Tests production aircraft to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability. Pilots production aircraft during engineering and production acceptance. Pilots aircraft or acts as instructor pilot for training customer pilots and aircrew during syllabus training flights; may conduct classroom training of customer pilots and aircrew. May conduct demonstration flights with customers, government officials, or other personnel aboard to exhibit aircraft performance, flying qualities and system capabilities. Provides engineering and pilot input to training, customer support and marketing teams.Current and valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Rotorcraft-helicopter rating Minimum 1,000 hours of flight experience, with at least 500 hours in helicopters Experience in flight testing and evaluation of helicopters Experience in training and instructing pilots, preferably in a military setting Knowledge of H-60 helicopter systems, performance, and handling characteristics Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a security clearance Bachelor's degree in Aerospace engineering, aviation, or related fieldMilitary flight experience, preferably in a Sikorsky product Experience with instructional design and development of training materials Knowledge of aviation safety management systems and risk management principles MH-60R/J/T Operational experience This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. This position requires a Secret security clearance.Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
