Process Engineer, Oklahoma

JOB PURPOSE:

System design for facilities in one or more of the following areas: mid-stream, gas treating, gathering, and oil/gas.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

BS in Chemical Engineering

Professional Engineer License is a plus

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop sizing information for Process Equipment (compressors/pumps/heat exchangers/distillation columns/separators/reactors) and providing info in equipment data sheets

Battery Limit List development

Logic diagrams as well as cause & effect

Ability to select and size relief valves per codes and requirements.

Responsible for preparing/maintaining calculations by the project plan for subs for client review

Know and understanding of the discipline specific scope of work, design criteria, and project standards

Check the work that is received from Designers/Drafters for correctness and quality

Developing the process parameters including mass flow, heat transfer, material balance capacities and rates

Chemical balances, pipe flow rate, compressions, over pressure protection

UniSim, HYSYS, ProMax
