Randstad Staffing has an exciting direct hire Route Planner job opening with a nationally recognized logistics company in Rogers, MN. The position is an individual contributor role responsible for creating routes, managing routes, calculating delivery routes, times of deliveries and makes the necessary adjustments for drivers and customers. Location: Rogers, MN Hours: 12pm to 8:30pm Schedule: Sunday to Thursday Pay: $27-31 per hour Type: Direct Hire / Permanent Placement Responsibilities:

- Establish delivery routes which are cost effective and compliant with Federal DOT guidelines while still maintaining an acceptable level of customer service, quality and satisfaction. Utilize Roadnet application to ensure Delivery costs are held to company expected run rates year over year.
- Establish routing procedures and schedules which allow for the optimum use of personnel and equipment while keeping a strong emphasis on driver safety.
- Perform Roadnet application routing maintenance daily to ensure all locations have accurate, timely, and up-to-date information: Standard Routes and Customer Delivery Requirements, Geo-Coding, delivery days, time windows, service time types, service time overrides, account types, meal beaks, Route start times, pre/post trips, starting/ending depot, travel modes, color for mapping, assigned driver, equipment and DOT road checks, Plan Maintanence equipment with regards to costing, restrictions and capacities.
- 3 - 5 years distribution, logistics, transportation routing and/or related administrative experience.
- Intermediate/Advanced computer skills including routing software applications (Roadnet, AS400) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
