Senior Electrical Engineer (Direct Hire– Onsite)
Location: Tulsa, OK (Local OR Open to Relocate) Positions: 2 Work Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Direct Hire Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Skills: MATLAB, SCADA, Simulink, PLC The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, development, and optimization of electrical and power distribution systems for critical energy infrastructure. This high-impact role supports pipelines, compressor stations, power systems, and data center energy projects. You will ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, system reliability, and innovation in a rapidly evolving energy environment.Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical power distribution systems supporting pipelines, compressor stations, storage facilities, and power-generation integrations. Develop schematics, layouts, and technical documentation for new builds and upgrades. Review and implement arc flash studies, mitigation solutions, and fault protection systems.Ensure strict compliance with electrical codes and standards including NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, and company safety policies. Champion integration of:
Automation systems Real-time monitoring Distributed energy storage Instrumentation&control systems (PLC, HMI)
Support SCADA, Simulink, MATLAB, and grid-interaction analysis where applicable. Manage full lifecycle engineering for small to medium facility projects (Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC). Oversee project timelines, budgets, resource planning, and stakeholder alignment. Provide engineering support for construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting.Work closely with mechanical, civil, process, data center, and controls teams to deliver integrated solutions. Communicate design updates, risk assessments, and progress to leadership. Mentor junior engineers; promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Support engineering standards development and best practices documentation.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 8 years of engineering experience
in natural gas, power systems, data centers, or related industry Strong knowledge of electrical design fundamentals, power distribution, and system protection Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering tools Ability to review and improve arc flash studies Working knowledge of major electrical codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE)Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Commitment to safety as the highest priority Master's degree in Electrical Engineering PE License
(highly preferred) Experience with:
PLCs&HMI systems SCADA systems Instrumentation engineering Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC project phases
Project management experience Familiarity with battery energy storage, turbines, or power generation systems
