/ppWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join a leading paper packaging manufacturing company located in the Pryor, Oklahoma area.

This is a high-impact leadership position for an experienced HR professional who thrives in both strategic and hands-on roles someone who can partner with operations, influence leadership decisions, and foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
In this role, youll serve as the primary liaison between management and union representatives, guiding labor relations strategies, grievance resolution, and contract negotiations while maintaining a balanced, collaborative approach.
Youll lead a team of HR professionals, oversee recruiting and retention efforts, and ensure compliance across all facets of HR from safety and wellness programs to succession planning and employee development.

/liliLead and manage grievance investigations, disciplinary actions, and arbitration processes.
/liliSupport contract negotiations and labor strategy development effectively.
/liliUtilize extensive employee relations experience to manage collective bargaining agreements.
/liliPromote a positive, inclusive workplace culture and provide coaching to supervisors and employees.
/liliConduct thorough investigations to resolve employee concerns promptly and fairly.
/liliOversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for both hourly and salaried positions.
/liliCollaborate with operations to ensure adequate staffing levels for 24/7 production demands.
/liliSupport performance management, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
/liliLead and mentor a team of three HR professionals to achieve HR objectives and initiatives.
/liliEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
/liliMaintain accurate HR records and facilitate HR analytics reporting.
/liliLead safety and wellness initiatives in collaboration with EHS teams.
/liliAnalyze key HR metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
/liliFacilitate effective communication of HR initiatives and company announcements.
/liliPromote change initiatives through proactive communication and strong relationship building.
/liliIntroduce and support continuous improvement concepts to achieve desired outcomes.
/li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliBachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
/liliMinimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment in roles such as HR Generalist, HRBP, or HR Manager.
/liliStrong experience with union labor relations, including contract interpretation and grievance administration.
/liliProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
/liliExtensive operational knowledge of HR disciplines, including compensation, benefits, health management, and talent development.
/liliExperience in paper, pulp, or similar heavy manufacturing industries is preferred.
/liliExcellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
/liliProven ability to build trust and credibility with both hourly and salaried employees.
/liliHands-on leadership style with a strong sense of urgency and approachability.
